Meet the Team

cody putnam – founder/owner

Cody began working in the HVAC industry right out of high school and quickly realized that owning his own company was his ultimate goal. After gaining years of valuable experience in the field, he and his wife took a leap of faith and started South Central HVAC. Founded in 2017, the company began with the support of family and friends and has grown into the trusted business it is today.

When he’s not working, Cody enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, exploring nature, and searching for Native American artifacts. He values time with his family and loves making memories with his kids and their dog. Whenever he has the opportunity, Cody travels for hunting trips and continues adding to the collection proudly displayed on the basement wall.

brad holtz

Brad and Cody first met in 2010 when Brad was hired at the company where Cody was working. The two were partnered together, with Cody helping train Brad on the job. They became fast friends, and Cody immediately respected Brad’s strong work ethic and skill in the field. After many years of considering the move, Brad officially joined South Central HVAC in 2025, bringing his experience, dedication, and commitment to quality service to the team.

Outside of work, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He loves being outdoors, whether hunting in the woods or running his beagles. Brad is also very involved in his kids’ activities and can often be found coaching their basketball and softball teams.

luke hill

Luke first started working with South Central HVAC while he was still in high school, helping out whenever he could over the years. In 2026, he officially joined the team full-time, bringing a fresh perspective and strong enthusiasm for the trade. Luke shows great promise and dedication, and his technology-minded approach adds valuable new energy to the team.

In his free time, Luke enjoys spending time with friends and family and staying active outdoors.

stacie, tucker, and avery putnam

Stacie and Cody have been married nearly 20 years and have two kids together – Tucker and Avery. Stacie plays an important role behind the scenes at South Central HVAC. She manages the office and secretarial duties that help keep the business organized and running smoothly. You may also find her running parts or helping wherever needed to support the team.

Tucker has started taking on more responsibilities with the business as he gets older. He’s shown a strong interest in learning the trade and can often be seen working alongside his dad during weekends and summers.

Avery is the youngest member of the South Central HVAC family. Her main duties include keeping her mom company on parts runs and negotiating payment in Starbucks or fidgets — a role she takes very seriously. Just ask her dad!
